I do not mean to imply that nonprofits should not seek to grow, just that we should not seek to grow for growth's sake alone. I see no sense in automatically increasing a budget over the one you had last year just because it 'feels' right. I am, however, implying here that sometimes nonprofits leave out the strategy part.
